@mikhailapeterson1 so you understand what I'm saying? that I would have no problem sitting through the research...but a tv show like the Agenda is not the right forum for that--that's all. I also realise JP isn't a quack and if you read my comments you'll understand that I agree with him.
@MahoCanada2 Feminists don't need Jordan Peterson's help. Feminism can do great things and women deserve to be treated equally, but it's not absolute. There are fundamental differences between men and women, and ignoring them doesn't make them go away.
I read this blog post from a psychiatrist today and it reminded me of this clip so I'll pass it on.... and youtube doesn't allow links...blog: thelastpsychiatrist, post: Couple Reveals Child's Gender Five Years Too Late
Sometimes he knocks out some incredible articles.
And from the corresponding comments section, goto wikipedia for:
@Bruntsky No he's not making convincing case that social/cultural factors are more important than biology.I think he's making the opposite point. You should watch it again. Also, I'm compelled to ask: would you sit through a multi-hour lecture/explanation of the research? I'm not sure "The Agenda" is the right forum for the sort of proof you're looking for...
@Merle1987 I like the phrase "Palteoconservative", though....It makes me think of "australoliberal" or "crofeminist". or "Paranthropus-anyone who happens to disagree with me".
@Merle1987 Its telling that you frame the world in terms of different 'legislative agendas'. We've legislated away the differences between men and women as far as they'll go. In the West, we're now equal in every way that the state can influence. What I find odd is that talking about differences that exist--plainly--is somehow taboo. Also, how would you like to change legislation to reflect the growing educational outperformance of girls? How shall we engineer parity? We need a state to help us!
Now I know how conservatives feel when they say every academic is a Satanic communist. This guy is so paleoconservative it's funny. There isn't even a political party active today which would legislate the world he desires.
