Another solid Toadies show. Always a treat to hear "Dollskin" Here is my take on recording video at shows. Sure "everybody does it" but let's be cool about it. I figure if I'm positioning the camera right in front of my head (preferably a bit lower so i can enjoy watching the band, not an LCD) it;s not going to obstruct any fans view. I never hold the camera out more that about a foot. The idea here is don't piss off the band and don't piss off the fans behind you....and seriously, who wants to witness a masterful performance of "Dollskin" with some dude holding a camera phone an inch from Todd's guitar? It appeared that guy was recording an extreme close-up, completely unnecessary IMO. Don't mean to sound like a hypocrite, I'll record 2 or 3 songs at any given show in the manner I described above and then pocket the camera so I can move around and have a good time for the remaining 10+ songs.
