Yikes... I got some not so nice responses. My Beta HAS A REAL Aqurium to live in now. He no longer lives in the jar shown in the video. That was a short time place for him to live in until we got him a real place... again the his new home is not shown.
His name is Beta.

  • Lol. Always fun to look at fish police bishing. None of you really get the point of this video. For god sakes the fact that you guys are keeping fish causes them to be forced to live in a cup sold in Walmart/Petsmart/Petco anyway. If you hate this soooo much, don't even buy pet fish because it obviously promotes the so called "animal cruelty" chain reactions. Grow up please.

  • @Jackyhkable. :) LOL

  • Dear everyone bitching at her for putting her fish into a jar, In the wild, the betta/Japanese fighting fish live in small, shallow rice puddles and feed on insect larva. Bettas arent supposed to have large tanks like other fish. Big tanks are too spacey and the betta feels unsafe. A simple 1gal vase or tank will do. My 3 year old betta lives in a vase with 1/3rd filled with rocks and bamboo growing out of the top.

  • @OoWhiteChocolateoO. Did I mention that I put my small Betta in a large tank with a cave and she hid inside there until I moved her into a smaller tank with the same cave. She never goes in the cave.

  • even temporary its bad container licke if i said to you go live in a small cardboard box for a week or too wel feed you a bit and tlk to you but other than that for the next week your living in a box

  • @Joeink100 I understand your point. The video should have been shot after he was moved to the bigger tank. But the part I wanted to capture was his happy wee face getting a big present. Betta fish are shipped in tiny bubble wrap. The fish is shrink wrapped in plastic, then air and a little water was added. They may stay like that almost unable to move and medicated with Gish tranquilizers for. Days and weeks to big chain pet stores.

  • @MsPixelatedPaint yeah! Thank you douches for your comment. People don't read about my fish and his temporary jar. Glad you too talk to your fish!

  • People need to calm down and read annotations. This was his home. He has a tank now. I honestly think this is cute! My daughter and I talk to ours all the time.

  • Too small! The comment about how most bettas are sold in small bowls is simply so the pet retailers can push as many as they can and with the comment made to customers that bettas require little care or space! Not true! This is sick. Sorry to say but that is not place for a betta. Also I must be missing something so in all fairness did anyone see how the betta ( off the top of the water breather!) is getting any air? Is there an open space on this here totally inappropriate pickle jar?

  • Topple the walmart regiem! Boycott all purchases from them and contact them, leave notes taped to the doors! Keep it up until they take care of them! Copy and paste onto every fish video
