A picture slideshow of the new roller coaster Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit at Universal Studios Florida. The slideshow covers the planning stages all the way through testing. Once again just to set the record straight the roller coaster is indeed at Universal Studios and not at Islands of Adventure. As of July 22nd the rings that go on the lift hill were inserted. I'm assuming these are the final pieces and opening should be very near. As of July 28th Universal has been testing Rockit at full speed launching trains every 23 seconds and allowing 4 trains on the track at once. A soft opening is very near. I would also like you to know that once it opens and I get some new pics i will revise this video. As of August 14th a soft opening for team members only has been held! It has still not had a grand opening but has been soft opening just about every day since August 15th. Grand Opening August 19th, 2009. Get ready to ROCKIT!

Super slideshow with video clips and music.
I did a (slower) slideshow last year with a waterproof/dentproof Olympus SW1030.
Some Rockit stuff on it from late June.
