The best is the power to fast forward through all the stupid crap to get to the stuff the video claims it is about. No editing skills here.

A simpleton describes the finer technical points of his machine to a moron journalist-
"Wood goes in the front. It boils water in tubes...runs through the pipes. Push the throttle, it opens the valve. Steam hits the piston, makes the engine go round and round. And that's really all there is to it."
"Simple as that, eh? Have you won any races on this bike?"
"Oh,no!"
Duh! What a pair of twerps!

Fire that baby up man! I want to hear it!
-
I'd sure like to have seen it going! Did he run it while you were there?
-
Thank god!
"have you won any races on this bike...?"
Classic line!
Yeah... he won the race to build the nerdiest bike in the world!
I bet the coffee (no i bet it's TEA) he is carrying came out of the dam thing too!

One of the most charming aspects of a bike like this is a Sunday ride through the forest. You never run out of gas ;)

So you drive through the woods with a cart full of water barrels?

Stick to the streams, stay away from the moors

Interesting from a pure engineering standpoint, and water isn't too hard to find...but firewood could be a logistical challenge and I'd imagine it takes at least an hour to get it running from cold. Also, high-pressure steam in a garage-made contraption? That's a bomb. No thanks!

The bike does have a pressure release.
