MGS4 BEST GAME OF EARTH LIVING!!!

I disagree. There have been many American masterpieces, even from Hollywood (Schindler's List is a particularly powerful example that comes to mind). Unfortunately they seemed to have lost it's edge.
Quality of art is like a wave. One moment, it is high, and the next, it is low. Just look at the Video Game Crash of 1983. After a flourishing start, the American game industry went down. It came back in full force in the early 90s and it keeps getting higher and higher.

OMFG ME TOO!

Yes. What CON said.
They were pretty much "programmed" to when if they wanted to talk about the Patriots they said La-li-lu-le-lo. So if they tried to explained such a topic. They said that instead of patriots.

It's the codename used in MGS 3.

It's a Japanese language joke. Basically, the Japanese syllabaries are organized in groups of (consonant + a,i,u,e,o), so you have "ka ki ku ke ko", "ma mi mu me mo", etc. But since there's no 'L' sound in Japanese, "la li lu le lo" is just a bunch of vaguely foreign-sounding nonsense syllables.
It's like using Greek or Cyrillic letters in English; they're *sort of* like Roman letters, but not quite.
