This is a great movie of thesis project of Takeshi Kobayashi in Sci-arc 2007.
Tried to intergrate complex space and simple space in architecture.
How we feel when we pass through these spaces???This could be a future of architecture!

  • @renenixkashieca i agree with you, its like theres no reason or art behind fundamental shape of the building. Do you think that they do capture feeling in this building, i would say it is interesting at best.

  • But the question is: does the air still stink like a toilet from one coast to another from the 600,000,000 open defecators every day?

  • これ、すごいと思います。

  • what is it ? a prking structure and a park? parking for the square footage would be outrageous

  • why?

  • nice modeling,poor architecture,..

it is just surface articulated. still,it is a box

the articulation fail if the building is viewed from a distance

  • The music had more impact than the architecture.

  • great cut.

the font of the "special thanks" - what font is that?

  • Design and architecture can be always redefined.....and your hard brain too......(and it will when there are more people talking about this type of architecture around you) Hadid by the way its just very basic level -not bad at all- of what we call progressive architecture. These forms and shapes will just be the norm the next few years (4-5 maximum)

  • agreed with sirium9. altho... nothing is definitive, always
