Due to popular demand I posted this sweet ballad released as a single in 1980 which peaked at # 10 on the country charts. It was released from her debut LP "Drifter" (RCA, 1981).

One of my favorite songs. I was 15 when she released the song. I was a big fan of the "Tumbleweeds" comic strip and could just imagine that it was the inspiration of this song.

I grew up 30 miles from Sylvia, I just started high school when she was popular. I was country when country wasn't cool, There were only 3 people in my class that listened to country music, the other 80 some didn't mature as fast as me. lol ...Probably had a crush on her as well.
