Kix WIP

Prototype resin mask I've been working on. Not bad but a little tight. Guess that's why they call it a prototype.^^ He still needs teeth and a few other things but I'm pretty proud of him so far.

Hey I noticed this on furbid and was curious. I've been looking to upgrade my mask to one with a movable jaw. How's the vision? Do you see out of the glass eyes or the tearducts? I have a laytex mask that's similar, minus the movable jaw, that I use my own eyes with. Would it be possible to do something similar to what I have? Where I would use my own eyes if the vision isn't as good as what I'm used too with my current mask. Or would that look odd?

@4WDwolf Wow, I'm sooo sorry for not responding. I must have missed this. Um... Tearduct vision. Any pictures? Never made an "use yer own eyes" mask yet. Vision is excellent. Does that help?

How does this stay on? Do you have to glue it to your face, or is there a strap...? (Saw the commission on furbid and was interested)

No. no gluing required. The mask base is padded around the edges for comfort then strapped on via elastic bands. The fur on the head also helps keep it on and it takes litte pressure to move the jaw.^^
