power acoustik fubar 12" powered by 1600 watts (OLD SYTEM)

2 PA fubar 1800watt subs with a PA 1600 watt 2 channel amp. song is hey bay bay. i have everything turned all the way up except the loud is on low. volume is at ten (10) out of sixty (60) the reason why i dont go higher is because i dont have enough power going to the amp i recently bought a power cap that is waiting to be put in.

i got a ? i just bought a power acoustic amp and when i turn the knob for more power my subs will start pounding with the voulum all the way down do u know if something is wrong with the amp or is my sub just to small the sub is a cheap ass dual and i also got two mtx thunder 4500 10 inch subs hooked up to it the dual is a 12 inch 500 watt sub

ok turn the volume up to about 3/4 the way up on the hea dunit, then go back to the amp and adjust the gain. turn the bass boost all the way down. or to very little of it, prefferably under 3 db. then while moving the gain up just listen for the sub to sound horrible and distorted. once you have it where it doesnt sound bad at all then just leave the gain right wher eit is. the gain is NOT a vloume knob. your head unit is a volume knob. more information at ssa forums just google it
