  • If you freeze the video between 1:02 and 1:04, look at Franetovic's expression [when she looks in Jansen's and Rachlin's direction]....priceless!!!!!! lol

  • The second violinist looks at the first violinist because she is the concert mistress and the entire orchestra follows her as much as the conductor. That's what they are supposed to do.

  • The clearly edited two different performances. The flutist's outfit changes several times, plus: when she is wearing NO cardigan, there is audience standing/sitting on the steps on the right next to her, wheras when she is wearing her cardigan, there is noone there.

  • 0:35 for start.

  • the flutist is hot

  • star wars

  • this song is freaky....but its very nice!

  • @msjuniejane1 finally, someone who understands. It's because they are constantly communicating visually as well as aurally that they play so perfectly together, and they do. Great performance!

  • @looney1023 This piece was originally written for the glass harmonica, but it's an extremely rare instrument. This performance instead uses a celesta (a keyboard instrument that uses metal bars instead of strings), which is most famous as the instrument used in "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from the Nutcracker suite, and more recently, "Hedwig's Theme" from the Harry Potter series.

@katinkers: Another "mysterious" piece you should hear is "Neptune" from the Planets suite.

  • from the list of emotions music is written to encompass, this one i find to be one of the more elusive. it's sought after for sure, but I've yet to hear anything more mysterious than this piece.

  • is that a glass harmonica?
