  • Besides comparing their states you twits, he is speaking of their minds. Duh!

  • Lincoln was a republican much unlike Obama

  • ...What's your point?

  • You forget that the state of Illinois refers to itself as two things;

    The State of Illinois

    The LAND OF LINCOLN

    Take a look at their (our) license plates, history major.

    ---

    Obama being referred to as "from Illinois" is objectable, yes, but I ask you, what does the media always say and put after his name?

    D-IL.

  • Maybe your right, but the comparison often comes up as an argument for Obama's lack of experience. Lincoln was very unexperienced when he became president, and Lincoln is now generally thought of as a great president. Just saying that's were the comparison comes from, not saying it's valid. Steve Brodner also acknowledges that Obama may not be like Lincoln in this video.

  • Yeah, I understand what he was saying. I grew up in Chicago. It doesn't make his point any less ridiculous.

    Obama is nothing like Lincoln.

  • That's not what he was talking about. Lincoln was a member of the house of representatives from Illinois, and Obama is a member of the Illinois state senate. Anyways, just because they weren't born in the same area doesn't mean they can't be similar.

  • Obama is from Hawaii and Lincoln was from Kentucky. They're nothing alike.

    Stick to cartoons, the political commentary's not working for you.

  • I like the way he compares Obama to Abraham.

  • I love when Brodner draws a face, erases part of the face and uses what's left behind to make a new face. Very interesting.
