@theman1819 i said all that to make the point....you cannot take players out so thats an unrealistic question and a way to look at it. hayes isnt the only one...there are many players that should be in. they could fix the curve and increase inductees...which will never happen. but your real question is, out of those players eligable now and in the near future, who should he go in before. and i say he's past his time. he should go in now. and those other players wait like he has....
@theman1819 there is no denying lesters impact... this talk of the shutdown corner, denying 1/3 of the field to qbs and wrs, etc... playing on the island. all that talk started in the 80s because of lesters dominance. thats when they did indepth research on the CB position. the stickum talk is bull shit too. all these wrs, dbs and even qbs play with gloves now...yes i know the advantage of wearing gloves. I remember when that started too. the wrs wore scuba gloves back in the day...
@theman1819 people always ask me that. think about this.
MY hof critera is in this order; impact on the game, stats, titles. example, branch's career is comparable to swanns and bob hayes. hayes is in on impact primarily because like branch he played a role in the nfls deep ball evolution.
the pro football hof was est in 63. pro football in 1920. 17 players a yr inducted. they are clearly way behind the curve and players suffer. increase them.
man, where did you find this? i saw this commercial one time and never forgot it. love it and it made me a hayes fan ever since.

@Bexly I dont think they should increase the amount of inductees but you are right its an imperfect system
