@Halgraso Hay. . I agree the plot sucked, but i have seen lots of film that plot sucked. Take ST the motion picture. Visuly its amazing for its time, but did it have a killer plot?. Many people like the look of the movie and the reunion of old friends. I have notist that film makers don't exsplore cinamatographgy in there movies anymore and replaseit with CGI. If you don't agree, just look at INDY JONES 4 and the millions of enraged, heart broken fans!

Regarding the plot.."Hay its onley a movie". What I did not like is the way it looked! I would of liked it better if they had gone with the 60s vibe from TOS with an exsplanation of how and why the tech and clothes looked the way they did, insted of going for that clean high tech Look. I think they have realy lost something there.
