it's a valid topic because many people do not understand where warcraft originally got it's inspiration. If you think warcraft was thought of first, you might assume warhammer is blatantly copying and is therefore not as original.

World of Warcraft was intended to be a Warhammer game at the beginning. As Blizzard was turned down by Game's Workshop, they just changed a little bit here and there in the lore and made their "own" thing. The Orc DESIGN is Warhammer's. Before you think I live for this, I searched the internet ;)

And as for who created the orcs, the Scandinavians did. Along with the dwarves, elves, trolls and whatnot. Kiss the great shoes of the Norse Mythology for giving its ideas to Tolkien.

almost all the fantasy stuff comes from lord of the rings. i really would like to play that because im a die hard fan, but, the pvp sucks and there is no world pvp so. WAR it is for me.

LOL, WoW not having an affilation with warhammer. your a joke ok. blizzard was contracted by gamesworkshop to make a game. Thus though the contract fell through. Seriosly though unrelated look at warhammer 40k and starcraft and tell me the zerg and the nids dont look alike also tell that the terran marines and practicaly every unit that faction fields either doesnt look like either something from the space marines or the imperial gaurd.

I'd just like to inform Lubers that warhammer has been around dice the 60s... I'm not taking sides becuase I play both games just saying he is not correct and warhammer was in it's high light before blizzard was even thought up. Please I don't need hate mail for this comment.
