  • what time of year is that?

  • @TheCEEPINITKOOL I believe it was April.

  • @trinitytshirts I went to a resort in sequoia in late march, there was 3 feet of snow

  • @TheCEEPINITKOOL Yeah, they get more snow in the higher elevations. This trail begins at around 3000 feet. So there's not as much snow on it. Which makes it great for winter backpacking.

  • what's the time frame of this? I'm planning to do a february hike and I'm trying to get a gauge for snow

  • @hornetlee I believe it was around April. Keep in mind the MFK trail is pretty low in elevation and there was still all this snow. I would plan for snow and enjoy the trip.

  • That looks awesome man! Looks like you guys had a blast. Your friend kept on snacking on the snow. haha.

  • You head into Sequoia through Three Rivers. Drive towards Buckeye Flats Campground...instead of going down to the campground, take the road until it dead ends. The trail starts there. I don't have my map near me, so I can't give the exact name of the trail. A previous commenter said it's the MFK trail. To catch the snow, take a look at the weather forecast. Then head out on the trail when it says there's a chance of snow. So the trip most likely would have to be spontaneous.

  • Whats the name of the trail and what times did you go? i would love to hike through sequoia in the snow so any tips on how to catch some snowfall would be great, thanks bro. BTW loved the mordor comment, sounds like something my friends would say.

  • great video!!!
