Technical divers decent to have a look around and in the recently located intact wreck of a fishing trawler (length approx 60mtr) which rests at a depth of 50mtr (165ft), somewhere in Bali, Indonesia.. (this is NOT the famous ship-wreck of the USAT Liberty in Tulamben, and a dive to this shipwreck is beyond recreational scuba diving limits)
thats pretty goddamn deep

I can't imagine why anyone would want to dive with those extra cylinders hanging off of their waists. Can't they use a mixed gas closed circuit SCUBA instead of open circuit gear?

@tabanagas 250 feet? Heh, not likely on EANx. Oxygen becomes toxic at depth, it depends on the FO2 in the cylinder and the PO2 for the diver. For recreational diving, P02 > 1.4 is a diving risk. You can't even get to 250 feet without blowing way past 1.4 P02 with EANx. 36% EANx bottom is ~114 feet, the higher the FO2 in the cylinder, the shallower the dive has to be. However, a 114 foot dive is considered shallower than a normal air dive for nitrogen loading purposes. I usually dive 31-36% EANx

@Eskimo1973 Its enriched air if you look carefully on one of the scuba divers with the extra tank he has enriched air which has less nitrogen in the tank so the nitrogen doesnt come out of your blood as fast. for example a diver with enriched air dives at 250ft below the surface he can stay down there for 18min instead of 6min with a diver without enriched air. and you need a cirtifiaction for enriched air thats if you want to dive with a club

Nice! You dive that on air or trimix? Is that anywhere near Padang Bai by any chance?
