WEDway Peoplemover 1987 Ride-through Segment

My father shot this in the summer, right around midnight. The video is notable mainly because it shows the exterior of If You Had Wings with the Eastern logo prominently in place. You can also make out a little of the original Space Mountain employee costumes.

I miss this narration from the guy who did Piglet's voice. :( It gave the ride a much more comfortable/relaxed feel to it. I always enjoy Dick Tufeld's narrations, but his version gave TTA a very different meaning from the original WEDWay. WDW used to focus on making the future look warm and inviting, but now it tends to focus on what technology can do without really focusing on how it improves our lives. It's probably because technology has exploded over the past 10 years.

Yeah, Disney realized it's awfully difficult to make the future inviting, realistic, and give a serious look at it when the technology keeps making it obsolete
