How to replace GE water heater heating element/Drain a Water Heater/Fill a water heater/

My water heater leaks after the instalation by a installer. I called the GE customer service and was told that the installer turned the power on before the tank is full filled with water...I have to replace the water heater element. Here is the video for what I have done to replace the water heater heating element. Hope it will help other people.

I'm pretty sure this is my problem. about 3 days ago i started running out of hot water about 10 or so mins into my shower. I'm going to change out both my heating elements on my hot water heater. Thanks for the great video. I was just about to call a plumber and thought to my self i bet i can save some money and do this myself.  Thanks again for the help.

just replaced both elements and both thermostats, and it went well, took about 1.5 hours. Your video encouraged me to do it myself, rather than wait for a plumber to call me back on a Saturday. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make and post this video, again, it was very helpful.
