guns just shows that you don't know how to fight. but with swords like in YND it gives them name that's why ho nam is so famous in hung hing, because he knows how to fight instead of just shooting a gun. idk how to say this. but yeah. lol

gangs in Asia are founded on the bases of honor and respect. the reason why Chinese gangsters don't use guns is simple because they cant. guns are highly illegal. if a cop caught someone with a gun on them, they will be put away for years..IF anyone is caught just simply firing a gun they will be put to death.

you are right, that is why in amsterdam, where the triads have a stronghold, there, they are several shootout's and killings with guns between warring members, one shootout happened in 1996, before ynd 3 was made, losely based on the real incident, but in places like hong kong and macau, it's not readily available, smuggling drugs is much more benificiary then smuggling guns, that is not to say, they dont have it, but just dont use it, when u kill someone by gun u bring big problems to ur gang.
