(1) Lithium-Red (lithium chloride on a platinum wire)
(2) Sodium-Yellow (sodium chloride on a platinum wire)
(3) Potassium-Lilac (potassium chloride on a platinum wire)

  • If you're referring to the colour of the Bunsen Burner flame, then that's most probably methane (CH4)

  • so is the normal fire we see just with oxygen?
