@SteveNGarth Plenty new areas to explore and lots of rambling to do :D

@popparoc46 Apparently daffodils were the in thing to plant all over this area, hehe. They are everywhere. Little colorful dots marking old homesteads no longer there :) Unfortunately, yes, still smoking :( The breath thing is a combo of smoking and being horribly out of shape. Luckily, I have some free time now to fix some of that :D

@Evilspartacus Ha! I think I need exercise worse than anyone by the sound of myself at the end of the vid, lol.

@podpictures No, I bury those a little further off the beaten path.

Btw I didn't know that about hogs. Where are they running the most in Louisiana? Also what do you do with dead armadillos?
RiverBirch1967 1 year ago
@RiverBirch1967 I've heard of wild hogs being a problem here in Union Parish and Jackson, Ouachita, Tensas and Lincoln Parishes, too. I'm sure they're all over the state, lol. As for the Armadillos, you put on a glove, grab it by the tail and fling it out in the woods for the coyotes. Armadillos are the only animal other than humans that carry leprosy and a huge percentage of the ones in Louisiana have it.

Nice beard. (smile) Very nice day for a walk, very nice and different vid. I whisper in the woods too. It just seems appropriate when in awe of nature. The daffodils turned out nice in sepia. Do you have those little snowbells too? I love those and they are surrounding my RV. This souonds bad, but I used to drive to old homesteads that were abandoned and dig up the old-timey bulbs, then replant them in my yard. Graveyards, too.

@RiverBirch1967 The thing about the bulbs doesn't sound bad :) They aren't doing a thing for abandoned homesteads nor graveyard inhabitants. Flowers are for the living :)
