I heard a discussion on the radio, this is what the speaker said.

So deny gays the right to marry because they can't have children....What about sterile or barren couples, or people who cant naturally have kids. Or two Adults who just never had children, (Could not afford it, or decided not to) No one seems to be pressing issues on those types of couples.

@legato00 I concede the fact that you never said any of those things were wrong. I seem to just not understand your post... Why is the video flawed? Where in the video did they claim to know what the root of the problem for divorce and pre-marital sex is?

@legato00 Yes but why not make it illegal? You claim that same sex marriage, divorce and pre-marital sex are wrong, and are big problems. Yet you make one of them illegal but keep the others legal... If you could vote, would you ban pre-marital sex and divorce? If your answer is anything other than "yes", then you are a hypocrite, and pretty much everyone couldn't marry under the law. I realize your comment is two years old, if you have changed your mind then good, if you haven't, then answer...

@jdovgy @jdovgy It's not the Jews and Christians inter-marrying, specifically; obv, Christians weren't even *around* at the time the Old Testament was written. But there are "laws" in the Bible against mixed faith and race marriages.

Of course, like practically everything in the Bible, there are mixed messages galore. You'll have "these people are different, so don't marry them, it's an abomination" followed by "and if you defeat these people go ahead and marry their women." Yeah.

@jdovgy The video is clearly highlighting that same-sex marriage has fallen under the same prejudices and misunderstandings which surrounded past marriage bans. Gay couples are currently facing the same hurdles interracial and mixed-faith couples did in the past.

@jdovgy Just goes to show how unaware many people are about the history of marriage. In many cultures in the past and even TODAY (the Middle East), two people from different religious backgrounds are often barred from marrying. Just 40 years ago, black and white couples in the US couldn't even marry. Crazy isn't it? Interracial marriage was finally legalized in 1967. The video is far from ridiculous. And the hyphening thing was merely a parody showing how silly it is to deny anyone marriage.
