USS Fletcher DD 992 Final Cruise 2004.avi

This is the final cruise of DD 992 under her own power in San Diego, CA. The date was July 22, 2004 and current and former sailors of DD 992 were invited for a final family cruise. The ship performed very well and this video shows that as well as the members of the crew from 1980 to 2004.

This entire movie was shot from video footage that I collected from Fletcher's final return in 2004 and her final dependents cruise that same year. Fletcher was decommissioned on October 1, 2004, sat in Pearl Harbor Inactive Ships facility until her sinkex for RIMPAC 2008.
