The rules in italy are a bit of a grey area, if you are producing for yourself i think it recently became legal...but only recently, before you would get screwed for avoiding tax. Just like everywhere else in the world...its all about the money, the government couldn't give a shit if some rednecks poison themselves in the woods...so long as they aren't dodging taxes.

Moonshine , Grappa , eau de Vie!! All good . Thanks for sharing!
Viva L Italia!!

That sucked! It just looked like two guys screwing around with a hot water heater. Let's see some mash...Let's see steam...Let's see some finished product.

There are shops all over the U.S. now that have Wine making stuff, beer making stuff and Grain Alcohol, or Whiskey making stuff.

He's making Grappa, not moonshine (Only called so because its not taxed, otherwise it would be 'Grappa' as the name suggests.)
When you make wine all the smashed up grapes in it are filtered out, but still contain alcohol- why let it go to waste? You dump it into the still, add some water so it doesn't just burn on the bottom and collect.

Italian rednecks. We love you guys...

@usernameusername12 I think the lead in the radiators thing is a myth also. Last time I sat around a fire with some Tennessee hillbillies they told me that only a stupid to the point of retarded person would do that. This was coming from a bunch of guys wearing overalls with no shirts and shooting at prairie dogs all night. I love to travel. Anyone who says you have to leave the USA to be well traveled is full of sh*t. I have traveled all over the world and had some of my best laughs/times here.
who said it should be illegal? people should have the freedom to make it for themselves.

It's illegal cause the FDA can't tax it, but these guys are in Italy.
Cow manure would not increase yield, just look at the science of it. Old time moonshiners used to use car radiators that had lead in them, that could poison you.
Doesn't matter now since the prohibition is over
