  • Love Frost very much and the darkened exposure on the footage is the perfect image for this piece -- and your masculine tones add a perfect sound.

  • @liz1060 As I said below Liz...I wasn't sure if the 'digitally' deepened voice would reduce it to farce...but decided to give it a chance...glad it worked out OK...so far...lol...!

  • What wonderful use of your Dutch footage. A great reading - just lovely. Thank you Kristine!

  • @thizizliz Thanks Liz...I did not know whether the 'digitally' deepened voice would reduce it to farce. But chanced giving it a go.

  • Thank you for bringing us this. I always think Robert Frost's poems have a wonderful rhythm to them, the meter is perfect and your reading catches this. Before I saw the windmills I guessed the Netherlands... but where?

    Kind regards, Peter

  • @nordicsky Thanks Nordic. It is shot in Schiedam in Holland. Yes..I find trying to get the rhythm and timing in a poem is essential...sometimes one does it better than others.

  • @OceanTownPictures Computer effects...come with Mac...imovie...just read it ...then lowered it into this fe'male strange voice...thought it suited the ambience...!

  • No matter the voice you use, it still captivates me. Holland is one of those places I'd actually travel to...if I was the traveling type. I really enjoy your vacation footage and it seems to always fit nicely with so many different creative projects. -Steven-

  • @Caspar33 Yes Casper...why not...lol...!! Thanks...

  • @ljped Oh thanks so much Jack...bestest to you.

  • Very effective treatment. Why not? Works well.

  • Lovely reading of the poem Kristine...........I initially didn't recognise the voice - sounds interesting!

The video matches the words perfectly.

  • @alleiaegeria ha ha...no...just got sick of hearing my own voice as they say...and in imovie you have choices of voice alterations...nearly used 'cathedral'....but the hit on this...and like the ambiguity of who it might be...think 'he' sounds more mysterious and interesting than me...

  • Beautiful poem. The masculine voice suits you! What do you think that means? In the wrong body? Not the wrong town. We were there when it was glaringly sunny and bitterly cold. Now is is so pretty but as you pointed out, it was grimy and polluted in its heyday.

  • I enjoyed this. Since I have trans friends the voice doesn't put me off. The footage is wonderful. I must say I don't understand 'trans' very well.
