Latin Jazz/ World fusion single promo

"Flor", is the first single from the new project by percussionist and worship leader William Johnson. Grammy award winning artists Luis Conte, Alberto Salas, and Mark Faine join William Johnson in bringing this track to life. These amazing artists have recorded and toured with everyone from Madonna, Franklin Graham, Ricky Scaggs, Santana, and more. "Flor" is an instrumental musical interpretation of being able to see God within His creation of nature, especially the ocean. In the beginning of the track you can hear the soft breaking of the ocean waves upon the shore followed by the sounds of improvised latin percussion and eventually the trumpet and piano. The purpose of this track is to allow the listener to be taken to a place of serenity and spiritual nostalgia perhaps, as they close their eyes and thank God for His beauty and splendor...

The new album "Flor de Vida" is an instrumental musical interpretation about the fleeting nature of life. We do each have a purpose and not long to fulfill it. Vocal skat songs on the project like Talitha cumi carry the overall theme of the album, which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Nearly a dozen studios, a cast of amazing musicians (four of which are grammy award winning musicians) from all over the world, and amazing support from friends and family combined made this album possible. Flor de Vida is nearly two years in the making! Fusion sounds of Latin percussion, jazz, rock, and contemporary pop collide to create a diverse bed of musical textures sure to wet any palate and above all minister to the heart & spirit.
