Aloha,

This is at sharks cove on the North Shore of Oahu.

This is the famous "Blue Room" an underwater cave created by lava formation many thousand years ago.

There was a group of scuba divers in the room, when I dove thru and buzzed right by them. One woman was holding a flashlight.

Enjoy.

  • why is it called sharks cove?

  • @horselover84728 : supposedly many years ago (over 50), there was a meat processing plant across the street and at the end of each day, they would dump meat cutting scraps in the ocean and therefore it would bring out the sharks. Of all the many dives I've done there, I've yet to see a shark there.

  • I thought a blue room was an air pocket under the reef?

  • You may be right. I may have it wrong.

When I dive the spot, I always ask other people for the "blue room" or "elevator" and no one so far could tell me.
