@d260073 Maybe the reason they're making some 'non-Christian' songs is because they want to reach more than just Christians. Maybe they want to reach non-Christians. And that in itself, is glorifying God. The band is reaching so much more people and that is awesome! They're reaching out to non-Christians telling them about God's love through their music. Switchfoot is the same, a 'Christian' band, but they don't go by being a Christian band, because they want to reach more than just Christians.

God does want all of us to be happy but what he doesn't want is for us to make these TEMPORARY things our gods because thats a bad thing. But we can always have plans to do things but just be open minded to what God wants us to do always look for opportunities to glorify God And thats what this song makes me think about and if you are reading this you just may think "well this guy is just rambling on" and well i just might have but i hoped that this made some of you think about this if so great

This song is important to me because it shows all of us that well we need to wake up from our slumber and what does that mean well it could mean a lot of things it just depends on the way you look at it to me it means that we need to stop(if we are) living this life with lies and just STUFF thats TEMPERARY and open up our eyes to God and His plan not ours because our plans dont matter. And im not saying that we all need to give up all our stuff and move out of our homes and do it that way.

i love this song so much it was our them song for our youth Mexico trip this pass week and during that week so many peoples eyes were open some that i thought that wouldn't did and that in its self touches my heart and just because im going to put down what this song to means to me

Christians are called sheep too. As long as christ is 'our' shepherd it's fine.

@Sidereal94 not just that. the devil's workers sell their souls on earth for fame, fortune, and earthly pleasures. The average citizens of the U.S. and Europe are sleeping, if you will. The super rich elites, call these people Sheeple (sheep people). skillet has a similar song called awake and alive. same message.
