Here's an acoustic cover of The Replacements' classic "Alex Chilton." I kind of fudge the solo in the middle, but other than that I think it is passable.

  • there is a fine tab of this on ultimate guitar tabs. the song is in open A (i tuned my guitar to open G, and a threw a capo on 2). I think "Left of the Dial" and "Answering Machine" are in this tuning as well.

  • This is badass man. The only way to to sing Westerberg is with passion, you nailed it awesome job I need to practice!

  • Hey, man. I think I've seen some of your other videos on here. I definitely remember a cover of Superchunk's "Detroit has a Skyline." You definitely have great taste in music, and the punk rock attitude that I love is all there, but you really need to work on the placement of your words, locations of chord changes, and lingering on chords. I like your work, man. Just some constructive criticisms. Keep on rockin'.

  • I like but you don't need an open G. Standard tuning works fine. Last chord on bridge is E or D with capo on 2nd.

  • (: good work!!!

  • awesome!

  • Nice!

  • Awesome job!
