the non hitting arm also catches the racket at the end of the follow through so it can bring it forward quickly and get in the ready position

These are really great but you should mention the left hip moves first and lags the racket back and bends the wrist backwards....this is the KEY power move.

Dude, you should be watching the ball at contact point, that alone is more relevant than what your left elbow has to be doing!!
