Thankfully there are more positive attitudes about the future for people with TD1. For a kid, there's hope. The pump & sensor has changed my daughters life and gives her hope! Being cynical doesn't help blood sugar control!

The idea of a artificial pancreas is great! The problem with this video is it's nothing more than propaganda. I've been a T1D for nearly 40 years. I've heard the promises, "it should be available in 5 to 10 years". "IF" it's available to the public any time soon, the cost will be prohibitive. I was on a pump & sensor for nearly a year. The cost associated with it didn't give me a net gain in blood sugar control.
I've become cynical about a cure. There's to much money to made.
