Work where you want when you want with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. SharePoint opens locally on your PC, enabling you to sync your folders and work on or offline. Collaborating as a team is easy with SharePoint technology. Find SharePoint Workspace on Facebook for support, tips and the latest news: http://on.fb.me/97Jm3i

  • ;)nice

  • well... ok

  • "Because is a rich client... features like drag-and-drop are as easy to use es in windows folder." HTML5 supports upload via drag-and-drop from local file system. Chrome supports even download to local file system with drag-and-drop.

  • Good

  • I never used SharePoint or Group before and wanted to know what SharePoint brings to me, but this video is just so not informative.

  • Sharepoint is terrrible!!!!

I cant believe that after 4+ years of sharepoint existance, the upload center cant even show a proper upload progress bar. You have absolutely NO way to tell how long the uploading will take, and the office app will freeze until the upload finishes as well.

Also, office apps will gladly offer to check-in a file that has not yet finished uploading to the server, thus losing your changes without notice. Very lame.

  • need to create a form goto sharepointformwebpart use promo code WDS15 get 15% off

  • @benbennit thats how u come up with new ideas :D

  • Hi, Paul. Thanks for this info.

What I'm looking for is not a personal view of Sharepoint shared data, but the ability to view a document together, ala WebEx, etc. Is that a feature in Sharepoint?

    Thanks.

  • Can you only choose to synchronize a folder from a document library instead of the whole document library?

  • SharePoint 2010: all the features of CVS 1989, now with drag-n-drop

  • i like your chin

  • He Paul, I tried this AMAZING product, just to realize that you guys do not mention the little detail that calendar lists are not supported! Too bad for Microsoft!

  • Nice voice, nice intro

  • @ender165 No, I always thought Groove was some sort of music editor or something. Doesn't really express 'sharing', you know what I mean? Besides, they have Power point so its natural that someone would call it 'share' point since thats what it does among all your computers. Not a bad idea. Kinda sucks when I constantly have to use usb drives to update what I did on my lap top to the desktop,

  • @prostonata Paul just looks like he REALLLLLLLY needs to sleep, Just look how happy seeing that lady walk by with a cup of Joe makes him. Ahhhh.....glorious sleep!

  • Is Paul on crack? His eyes say crack to me.

Paul and Sharepoint are the dream team.

  • SharePoint Groove would have been a better name... but anyway.....

  • its sort of like google doc ?

but does not support the open formats

  • Well almost as good as Google Docs with offline support through Gears.

  • It's just a local installation of the former Office Groove "on steroids' which synchronizes a locally edited content to the Sharepoint server.

The graphical interface and search capabilities are well improved, great job guys!

  • They REALLY should've kept it called Groove. IT SOUND SOOOOO COOL!
