@151overproof I agree with you.It is however common to see children there without helmets. I was there just 6 months ago. Its a beautiful place for sure.

I noticed the people driving the scooters wear helmets but not the little boy. Interesting he should have a helmet, too . Vung Tau looks good now. Would like to go back to visit. Was last there in 1970. Nice to see the place in a time of peace.

@151overproof Yes not everyone in Vietnam was wearing helmets, the lil boy Do didn't have a helmet that fit so he was without...I know in the good ol' USA we'd be jailed and then some for driving with out a helmet and 3 people on a scooter! I have photos with the entire family on one scooter and the baby is in a small chair roped onto the scooter...there is nothing they can't do! Great place, great time, great people!
