That's good information it sounds like you know your bass! Always downsize your baits when the cold front comes in! And you're right about how they get way up in the cover on those type of days.

@MnSfishing Not sure. But it should work for crappie, perch, blue gill and other warm water fish.

what about up sizing?
pyxiefrog124 2 years ago
up sizing can work at rimes. but much more often going smaller is the only way to get back with lockjaw to hit my bait.
Down sizing when fishing is tuff is the first step you should take!

one thin is whenever you think your gonna get a bite you usually don't. its usually when your not paying attention or goffing off or not thinking about it. Tight Lines!

Almost all my bass bite when I am focused on fishing. Maybe I fish a little differant than you. And that is the point I'm trying to make. Being focused on your fishing will help you land more fish. My focus is most sharp at first light and when the bass are really hitting. But its more than paying attention to your fishing. It is also about body position, rod position and even arm position. So you are always ready to strike the hook home. Most people new to fishing loose focus and miss MANY fish
