How-to make Stuffed Mushrooms. This is a simple recipe you can cook as an appetizer for any gathering for your guest.

Ingredients
12 large mushrooms
1/2 an onion, diced
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1 tsp of lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.
2. Clean at least 12 large mushrooms and remove the stems. Leave the caps aside to be stuffed, and chop the stems for part of the stuffing.
3. In extra virgin olive Oil, saute the onions, stems, pecans, breadcrumbs, and garlic. Now add the lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Add a little more olive oil if the mixture is too dry.
4. Now spoon the stuffing into the caps and place them in a non-stick, oven-proof pan.
5. Bake for about 20 minutes.
Garnish with minced chives and red bell pepper.

  • Why are mine so wet? It seems a pool of liquid comes from them by the end of the cook time.

  • just made thisthey are gorgeous!! try adding sun dried tomatoes and grate a bit of cheese on the top.however i didnt use any nuts but tasted brill

  • Instead of stuffing them with this, try chopped up bacon and top with mozzarella cheese out of the green bottle NOT FRESH! You will love it.

  • @cookiecravingperson from heart to heart...eat at your own risk. I wouldnt touch them with a heated shtick from a mile away!! Maybe if you use cat instead of PICAAAAANNS to add more flavour you may not have to report this vid for misuse of fungi!! STUFFED MUSHROOM ROFLCOPTER!!!

  • These look so good and pretty easy to make. Can't wait to try!

  • Delicious! When I made these I used walnuts instead of pecans and they still turned out great.
