Problem is....when setting up a tent, we do not normally tie it down to wooden planks. You should try this test another way with the tent secured to ground...not wooden planks. The stakes and ties are subject to completely different stresses, and this test does not accurately reflect true outdoor conditions...unless you tie it down to your spacious patio.
