  • I think a lot of thoughts before and during my swing. First i think fade or draw, then club, then stance, then keeping my head behind the ball for loft, then keeping my left arm leading to make solid contact and pushing my hands through like they're beating my hips to stop me from coming too far inside out. It works too - last rounds of 77, 78, 84, 82, 83, and i'm now a 12 handicap. Think about what you wanna do and do it. IT WORKS. FIGURE OUT YOUR OWN METHOD.

  • I'll make you an offer...I'll spot you your 12 shots and play you on your home course as long as you promise to think all those mechanical thoughts while we're playing.

I'm glad you're playing good and am happy for your success but when the heat is on, all that thinking won't hold up. Swing thoughts are fleeting and band aids always come off at the most inopportune time.

Having said that, I appreciate your comment and wish you great success.

  • Rythmn, Relaxtion, Balance(stay grounded)...Try slowing your backswing, that helps you stay balanced...try it you'll like it!!

  • Hey Ben, you did a nice job, helped me alot.5/5

You can check out my youtube page for some more awesom golf videos. Just klick on my name.

  • here it is . dont let your body work your body, let your brain work your body. forget the golf ball , the golf ball just gets in the way of your swing . most amateurs focus on hitting that little ball, when they do that everything is forced and usually out of wack. hers the reason why players start off hitting left ,right shots on the range or course , and then al of a sudden they are hitting it straight , the brain no longer need to focus on the golf ball , just the swing path

  • i went to the range last night, after watching this vid and a couple of others, and about 70% of my drives went where i wanted, which is a marked improvement! I wasoverloading on "the perfect swing" advise before and was thinking too much. last night i went with what felt right and comfortable for me and it worked!!

    thanks for the good info.

  • Great stuff Ben, it has all become so clear now Ive been over thinking things. Its all about the target NOT the swing so much. At the range think about the target as you would on the course. Ive been doing exactally what you said, at the range its all about the swing and at the course its about the flag. got it thanks so much
