Doom came out in 1993. you say school shootings didnt start till a decade after doom...2003? I'll tell you what, between 1966 and 1993 (nearly 30 years before doom was released) there were approximately 22 school shootings in the United States.
thee only thing thats messed up is that you actually attribute violence to the games rather than bad parenting and social inadequacies in a violent society.
More messed up is that you didn't check the facts before you spewed misinformation.

We're an advanced society and responsible of our actions,if one of us commits a crime he should pay for it severely I think everyone agrees but blaming it on something is starting to sound uncivilized but believe me if we ban violent video games it's going to cause such a big uproar.
It would be a big mistake so many gamers haven't even heard of Jack Thompson and suddenly being banned their games...I can guarantee a lot of people will go violent.
