does it work with 4.11 and an maybe 4.12 version of the game, will it change all graphics or only the effects

the last stable is for 4.10 version , there are experiments for 4.11 which you can find at SAS forum , mod is changing only effects not the overall graphics ; )

I am sorry to hear that , if you go to sas1946 forum and downloading one of the three major mod packs whichever you like to have in order to make mods work with IL-2 1946 you'll see also various topics discussion about how to make mods work and help for any problems solving ;)

you'll do just fine , it's pretty easy if you follow UP3 or DBW or HSFX base pack install steps and the rest after is a piece of cake regarding the activating of many awaiting mods for you to try and play with....
