I love how small this film is. It reminds me of when movies didn't try to be overblown but still managed to be fantastic. The soundtrack is made up completely of nearly unheard of bands also which helps to add a very original feel to the film while still remaining grounded in that category of careful and slow paced revenge thrillers. It reminded me of The Limey at times because of where it was filmed and because of the pacing. Great review.

Agreed! Yeah it's definitely one of those movies. I'd be surprised if it wasn't nominated at least for some stuff. The director won best director at the Cannes Film Festival for Drive which is kind of equivalent to the French Oscars. Some would even say it's a more respected awards than the oscars. The Tree Of Life won best movie too!

It just seems like those kinds of movies you can really appreciate the direction and acting together. I hope it does get nominated... action movies always get the shaft. Dramas aren't nessessailly the best genre Academy! lol

I think you'll definitely dig it. It made me want to see it again. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a nomination for this one.

Oh really? I don't know man, this vibe just seems like my kind of movie. I'm excited for it. Glad Gosling is back doing these types of movies, great actor.

It does have a cool throwback vibe. Some of the music is 80's-ish!

Damn i want that poster! Lol Crap Snyder! Wanted 2 see this since i saw the trailer. Excited to see the performances and direction. Reminds me of movie theyd make back in the day
