  • I note that the sepo voice over man says "in Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth..."

Thus I deduce that Adelaide, not being metioned, is either [1] full of so many smelly people that it waspointless to flog Deodorant to the pie-flaoter eaters or [2] the fine people of Adellooidd are so squeaky clean that they never need deodorant.

    QED

  • @carmichaelful Or as my wife discovered when she moved to Adelaide from Brazil....Adelaide is the only capital city that has regional status, thus making it more attractive to people to move here that normally wouldn't want to. So option [3] is that Adelaide is not worthy of a mention as it is considered a country town.

Hey...do you remember the ad agency that did this ad?? Was it DDB- Singo? I vaguely remember my Dad having something to do with Uncle Sam when I was a kid because he worked for DDB at the time...I even had the Uncle Sam t shirt :-))

Yes, good times they certainly were!

  • @Smartboy8877

It was probably called 'Crazy Foam' here in Australia too, then. I imagine it was exactly the same stuff that you had in the U.S. : ) Ah....good times.

  • @tenderheart17

Here in the United States we had a similar product called Crazy Foam. I had tons of fun with that stuff in my bath tub! Oh the memories!
