Here is a video I made for a "Digital Video Filmmaking" class I took at NYU several years ago. I recruited my son Neil to star in this video. The shoot used only a single camera, so each cut (medium shot, long shot, etc.) used a different take that was then spliced together to appear to be a single take. I thought my editing was relatively slick. NO PROFESSIONALS WERE USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO!
Wow. Thanks! :)

Gosh, thanks. It is interesting for me to see this video now that my son's all grown up!

I first saw this video months ago and it still moves me. How cute when the little guy perks up when he sees a prospective Mommy, someone to take away some of the hurt from his Dad.
Very Well Done.

Thank you. Actually, that last bit was a completely impromptu add-in. It was not a part of the original shot list I had created. A friend (Reisa) came along for the shoot and I thought it would be a good way of getting her in. It also adds a small positive spin on a depressing video. I love the naive love it shows on the part of Tommy - "Maybe this will make it all better."
