  • 'fucking key signatures, how do they work?' - Arnold Schoenberg.

  • Jesus Christ, this is a piece of expressionism. It doesn't have to be musically perfect and sound wonderful. It's meant to reflect the composer's mood. Slagging it off for it's dissonance and saying it's a fucking awful piece of music is just frankly snobbish.......

  • Sounds like music they would use in a lightsaber fight between Luke and Vader. I actually quite like it.

  • @jimjim442 Totally was thinking this the first time I heard in Music. Many parts here sound incredibly reminiscent of John Williams.

  • @iTzJaKkeFTW you really can't hear it? must be just me and my entire music class, not to mention everyone i've asked...

  • @jimjim442 Can't tell if trolling or really stupid

  • It's actually really hard to make a piece like this and not sound like a five year old just put a load of random notes into a computer program

  • @TheBuddyboy15 Then write an atonal piece for a symphony orchestra.

It must be easy if you can criticize that heavily on Schoenberg's works.

There's many other people that also had written atonal pieces and or used the twelve tone technique..

It's a shame that half of the people in these comments don't have a sense of musicality.

    But, this is my opinion.

  • as a GCSE music student, i've never put a cheese grater to my ear drums, but i'd assume......

  • @TheBuddyboy15 oh crap, they've found me

  • i hate this piece and regret taking gcse music.

  • Ouch!!! This is painful!!!
