Those regular eyeglasses could be safety lenses, the worker may have installed side shields that snap on before using the saw. Faceshields are ineffective in snow/rain mix due to vision problems. I am thankful these folks opened the road safely and quickly. Chuck when it comes to real work in the real world you have be ready to adapt to the situation, for instance if you cant see out of the faceshield you shouldnt wear it. America wasnt made great by Armchair quarterbacks was it now.
@TheChainsaw600 The first gentleman you see with the chainsaw has on only regular eyeglasses,no sidesheilds to prevent chips getting in his eyes, and why not use the screen on his hardhat? Also he has earmuffs on his hardhat, why not use them?I have spent time in the woods working with a saw and know what our safety laws require, maybe they are not as strict for you
@chuck738 Looks like some hard workin men with all the right gear, the previous comment seems to not understand that its hard to see earplugs and clear safety glasses on video. Wonder why he isnt thankful for their hard work and tries to critique their gear, another armchair quarterback I guess.
Nice to see that your guys were wearing all their PPE,even if they only did for looks. The first chainsaw operator had hearing protection and a face shield on his hardhat, but wasn't using it,second guy with none?
