  • G Code is the program nearly every CNC system on the market uses. It wouldn't be wise to purchase a CNC system that uses a propitiatory program as it would greatly limit your choice of design software. Although G Code is relatively easy to learn and understand, today's CAD/CAM software virtually eliminates the need to learn G Code at all. There are several software packages that allow you to design your parts and the program will generate the G Code for your CNC system using a post processor

  • I keep hearing CODE but how hard is it to learn it and how come other brands like Roland don't use coding ( I think )?
