    this is the classic 737 series, the next-generation, the brakes is installed without any bolt, it's holded by the wheel nut only!

    It's not really easy to explain form this view. anyway, what you're looking it's a package of 4 disks that rotate with the wheel's rim, and 5 fixed disks. the movement that you can see is the pressure applied to the first ( from the left ) fixed disks on all package. Without pressure the 4 disks are free to rotate in the package, when you apply the pressure, the package was compressed and you have the braking action! I'll make another video and picture for better explanation! bye

  • these brakes suuuuuuuck to change wish it was like an airbus with only 3 bolts

  • as the brake disks are moving to the right on more occasions does it mean at that stage it is trying to grip the tyre rim to stop it moving? dont really get how it all works ..ny1 can explain??
