  • WV born and bred, love this movie...

  • we have crony capitalism not capitalism

"Capitalism should not be condemned, since we haven't had capitalism."

    Ron Paul

"1913 wasn't a very good year. 1913 gave us the income tax, the 16th amendment and the IRS."

    Ron Paul

  • @GmTruckCarLove Sorry bud, you got that wrong. The flight of business offshore is not due to unions but to money grubbing corporations and the government that has given them all kinds of incentives to break the back of unions and the people they represent, the middle class, the blue-collar workers. And watch your language! Manners still count whether you support unions or not.

  • Thanks for uploading, my teacher recommended this movie and im glad I watched it.

  • @joelofpaloalto My father was one of them. To this day the list of 'blackballed' men is growing in local #441. I can go on with the horror storys of the modern day union including the automotive unions.

  • @joelofpaloalto After that he was on the bench waiting to be hired for 2 years with no avail. MANY openings, great references and a name that was known as one of the top HVAC journeyman in Wichita. He was forced to leave the union. Found a job at a $3 pay cut, but better employee accommodation, relations and insurance. Three men from local union #441 later found out that they have been 'black balled.'

  • @joelofpaloalto insurance and many other frivolousness crap requested by the union when production is down. The companys have to protect themselves along with the employees. My father for another example was fired from a UNION HVAC shop; his boss did not want to pay him because he still had a shirt from them. So he told him that he will report him.

  • one of the greatest american films ever. this song grabs my heart every time. ........... OCCUPY AMERICA!! start a protest in your town!! march to take back our democracy from corporate power!!! see the John Sayles interview at Democracy Now dot org
