Here at Cisco Systems many of our products can now be downloaded as ovf or ova files. This walkthrough shows me deploying the CNR (Cisco Network Registrar) to a UCS C-Series Bladeserver.

What is the difference between an OVA and OVF file?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Virtualization_Format

"An OVF package consists of several files, placed in one directory. A one-file alternative is the OVA package, which is a TAR file with the OVF directory inside."

What to find out more about the CNR (Cisco Network Registrar)?

  • Thank you for making this wonderful video. It would take much more time for me if I go read the documents. :)
