It's not the school system that should teach our kids. The school should teach our kids to read and write. The parents (mom and dad) should be the ones teaching life lessons on why not to kill each other!!!!!!! Without a strong father a young man will have to look for a father figure. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY is being passed and the blame is put on anyone but the parents and the responsible parties.

This is sad. I moved from Brooklyn to the Chi to escape from the gang violence there. Kids at the age of 9-22 are shooting at the cops like they are some thugs on the streets. If Chicago does deploy the National Guard and the gang violence and these kids still have shootouts, Chicago will just be a wasteland and I might go to N.C. or something. I live on 115th Street and you can literally hear people cocking shotguns. Forget it, I'm moving next week.

What is failing to be remembered is when they tried to put those F.O.I's in the city's project houses. Anyone living in that city longer that city than 20 years know exactly how that turned out. The use of the national Guard is gonna be seen as a threat to these young kids. Which turns may cause more violence. more innocent lives lost in crossfire. Realisticly? Do you really believe this is the aanswer?
